ICT Visa Valid but Job Offer Expiring!! Tricky 1

Greetings from Sahil!!

I have a confusion. As you may already get an idea of what the problem is from the thread title.

Basically I transferred on ICT Visa NOC 0015 from my foreign company to Canadian Corporation last year under the owner operator category. My job offer is valid for one year and it started from 1st of Aug 2019. However I wasn't able to come to Canada in time and shifted in December 2019. The CBP official issued my visa from the date of entry i.e. 03.12.2019 and it is valid for one year i.e. 02-12-2020. Now my job offer is going to expire in the month of August 20.

Do I need to submit an offer of employment on portal again before the date of expiry of the previous one i.e. Aug20 or I can continue the work till the date of expiry of visa i.e. 02-12-20 despite the fact that my job offer already expired ? Is that a problem ?

Please guide.

Based on your previous posts you arrived in Canada and left soon after that for family reasons. Have you returned to Canada and when?

Yes, I have managed to return after a two month period time in early march. Any advise on the subject ?

Yes you need to extend your work permit.

Pardon me but my question is slightly different. Do I need to submit job offer before it expires i.e. August 20 despite the fact that i still have valid work permit till December 20 ?

If No, then why ?

You need to submit the job offer when you apply for an extension. Processing takes numerous months.
