Icbc kept my license for secondary verification and didn’t let me take learners test

i have a valid indian license since 2013. I went to give the learners test today. But icbc Richmond didnt let me give it. They said they have to send it for secondary verification to check if it is valid. How does icbc check it? What do i do if they say it is fraud

They check both locally and with the issuing country.

Because i heard two cases where the dl was valid but icbc said it was fraud

Yes it is 100% genuine

Called ICBC today. They verified it and found it to be original
I can go give the learners test for class 5.

yeah, if you don't have the original license with you, this will be an issue. How are they to know your photocopied license is in anyway valid?

Yes! I got letter from them that your license is fake so i called them they said you can give any additional document or can start from learner’s but after 60 days
