ICAS CANADA - APPLICATION TIMELINES

Just in-case someone here is interested to know:

ICAS sent me the soft copy of the report on the 11th of March and dispatched the hard copy of the report on the 14th of March by TNT to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
I received the hard copy of the report on the 17th of March.

Now we are waiting for the ECA report for my wife. Her documents were submitted to WES.

I might be quite late in posting here. Just discovered this thread today and thought I would share my time line if it benefits anyone. I had to apply through ICAS because back then in April/May 2015 I couldn't find another agency which was accepting transcripts from my university (Sikkim Manipal Univ). I believe that situation has now changed. ICAS took almost 7 months to complete the process.

On the flip side, I had submitted the same request to WES for my wife and It was completed and mailed within a month.

Following timeline is for my ICAS assessment.

Hi DOD, This might help someone here. Your wife has credentials from Sikkim Manipal Univ and you sent it to WES and received a +ve assessment? because as per WES, "WES does NOT evaluate academic records from Sikkim Manipal University."

Hi All,

Just starting my journey with the FSWP. I had 8.5 overall score on IELTS. Registered for my ICAS ECA yesterday. However I have an issue.

My sister (who is in Canada) filled the form for me online using her Credit card. Soon after, the email which came to my email address from ICAS started with Dear (My sister's name).

Why do you think this is so? Is it because my sisters credit card was used?

Please advice what you think I should do?

Hi mine was NVQ 2-3 from college in the UK. But no matter if its college or university qualifications it still takes six months, I found that out on various forums I have been on. Yours could be different with it being high school I would keep checking ICAS for there time frame. I had to use ICAS because WES don't evaluate NVQ'S.
