ICAS CANADA - APPLICATION TIMELINES

Can anyone help me understand the following points about getting an Assessment Report from ICAS for immigrating to Canada?
1) Do I need to send photocopies of mark sheets and degree certificate along with the Document Submission form to ICAS by mail or courier? Or, is it only sufficient if my college/institution sends them to ICAS?
2) Do I need to submit transcripts as well as mark sheets or either one would suffice?
3) How long does it take for ICAS to complete the assessment ?

In May, NCAS will launch an innovative triple-track process to assess an applicant’s competency for three nursing designations at one time: RN, LPN and health care assistant. The NCAS triple-track will consist of a computer-based assessment and a simulation-lab assessment and will produce three distinct competency reports. NCAS will not be increasing fees for applicants referred to the triple-track.

Do we have to appear for computer-based assessment and a simulation-lab assessment and NCLEX?

1. Yes u need to send all marksheets n degree certificate via post to icas to their address
2. It take abour 3-6 months aftr they receive all the docs frm u and college.
3. Colg also need to send all required docs

you need to write a couple of polite mails to them. They often reply within 24 hrs and after my 2nd mail my status changed to assessment in progress.

I would suggest you to write them & let them know your concern.

Some of you should write a few nice emails. Companies generally react within 24 hours, however after getting a second email, my status was changed to procedural assessment.
So I recommend that you write them and convey your sorrow.

2. Submitting both transcripts and mark sheets is recommended for a comprehensive evaluation.
3. The time for ICAS to complete the assessment varies but usually ranges from four to seven weeks once they receive all required documents.
