Hi iam Mohammad I have been in Toronto for 4 years and iam waiting for hearing court. my parents Leaving in United States and they are applied green card for me. now I got the email from US Embassy they approve me to give me the visa. Unfortunately Emigration seized my passport .
I want to know how can I have my passport Back bc I need to go is embassy

This is more complicated than just getting your passport back. Are you withdrawing your asylum claim in Canada?

Hi . No I didn’t do that .
In the first hearing court judge refused my case bc the want my clearance from state and they don’t answer to them . I pot appeal and they give me another chance the second judge accept my case. Afther 1 weak Ministry of immigration put the appeal in my case and they por the appeal in new decision. And the federal curt want to give me another hearing court and I don’t have any idea when is the time for it .

You need to withdraw your Canadian refugee claim or appeal and make plans to leave Canada. Your passport will be returned to you as you are leaving the country.

I need my passport before I leave the country. I have appointment on us embassy in Ottawa . If I leave the Canada I don’t have any other country to leave Without visa

You can’t have both the green card and asylum. Knowing you had a green card application in process why did you come to Canada? Did you come from the US?

I don’t have green card yet I have to go us embassy get my visa after that travel to us after few months they post it to me . My parent apply for me on 2013 it take around 7 year’s I am from Iran and I came Canada in 2015

Given that you will be getting you green card there is no point in wasting more immigration resources and that is why you should withdraw. You also should be advising the member overseeing your case that you have been approved for a green card. Assume you have already advised your lawyer of your green card approval.

Contact CBSA.to get your passport. The US will also want to know you are not pursuing other PR or citizenship.
