i want to change my maiden name to my husband's name in quebec.Help!

Hi guys!
I'm from the Philippines.I just landed last jan.23,2016 and I used my maiden name in applying for spousal visa. I plan to change my surname to married once my passport expire next year. Now I'm in quebec.They told me I can't use my husband's name. Is there any way I can change it.Please help me ..Thanks!

P.S.
My husband and I got married outside Quebec.We got married in Philippines since 2014.

As far as I know, it is not allowed in Quebec. If you immigrated with your maiden name, then you cannot change it

Thank you for your reply... I'm sad about it. If my husband and I knew about this law, then before applying for sponsorship, better I change my maiden to married name.Uffft!
