I took extra year for completing graduation, So how to calculate my work experience???

I was suppose to complete my Graduation by June 2016, but due to backlog it took additional year and atlast I completed in June 2017.
However, I strated working from July 2016 itself, I have a valid work experience and documents in hand. In My marks card it has been mentioned that I got graduated in the year June 2017.

So my work experience will be considered from June 2016 or 2017???

Please help!!!

Is this work outside Canada? If yes, then it will be considered from 2016.

If you were in Canada, and you worked full time.. that's a different matter.

Yes, Its in India. So i can opt for 3 years of work experience right? considering from July 2016.
