I remitted money into GIC on 26 July, What are my VISA chances?

I think he remitted money to Scotiabank for GIC. So he'll apply for VISA after receiving GIC. Following weekend and strike I don't guess you'll be able to meet the deadline.

I sent my initial application to scotia bank on the 3rd of July and only got the bank details from them by email on the 22nd

I had remitted the money the very next day through Vijaya bank and the money was debited from my account on 23rd and the bank said that Scotia bank should have got the money.
So we both are pretty much on the same boat. The last date to apply for me would be 3rd of August and my consultant insists with out any hesitation that I use the receipt I got from Vijaya bank of funds transferred to scotia bank as a replacement of the scotia bank gic receipt and apply for the visa (which I am highly confused about).
Has the money been debited from your account?
