looks like a scam because as far as i know immigration have all the info about your address, phone and family information so they wouldn/t be emailing you and usually they contact you via phone or mail not emai but if i were you i'd call immigration and ask them about this email and they will tell you exactly what it is.
 
Did you register with the office of immigration, settlement and population in your province after you landed? If not, then it is probably genuine, but telephone them to check. If you are a PNP nominee you are required to visit the office of isp and let them know that you have arrived, at least, that what our province have told us.

be aware. it looks like scam. now a days so many ppl got weird phone calls and email on
name of CIC. without calling them on right number dont do anything. it seems to be trap
