I need some guidance, London visa office?

Hello to all,

I saw somewhere that London Visa Office is now the main office for spousal sponsorships. How does it actually work? Is the processing time still 33 months because Islamabad visa office usually took that much time? Do you apply directly in the London Visa Office or the application is sent to London Visa Office via Islamabad office? Is the processing time for spousal short now since they are being considered at LVO?

Outland spousal sponsorships are sent to Mississauga for the first step of processing.

Two applications must be done, and are sent together to Mississauga.

The sponsor completes an application to sponsor, and this is processed in Mississauga. This is the first step.

The sponsored spouse completes an application for permanent residence. When the first step is completed, the PR application is sent to relevant visa office for processing. This would typically be in sponsored spouse's home country. This is the second step
