I have a Canadian citizen wife and she sent me invitation letter to come visit her and I applied for Canada visitor visa twice and got denied twice and with the excuses like; travel history, insufficient money, and doesn’t show I’d return back home when my staying is over.
Fortunately, my wife came to Nigeria and we got married on 19th of March 2020.
Now we want to appeal my visitor visa that they denied.
Can we proceed of the appeal or start with another visa, if another visa, what Type of visa can we apply for?
She is currently with me in Nigeria and she is insisting that if I don’t go with her she might be living in Nigeria. I’m glad to say this she is pregnant and she don’t wanna go through this alone.
Please we need good help.

Thanks for the response.
What are the requirements for the spousal visa?
You should be applying for sponsorship so that you’ll get PR. You can try to apply for a TRV but your chances of getting approved decreases after marriage since you will have less incentive to leave. Sponsorship cwn take around a year. You may require an interview. Your wife can remain with you in a Nigeria during the sponsorship. There is no spouse visa.
