I just got my PNP work permit and wish to apply for PR in the coming months..?

Hey, I just got my PNP work permit, I obtained this with the use of an immigration Consultant.

To apply for permanent residency the consultant want another $3000, I can't see how it could be this expensive for his advice and time to fill out the forms.

I am considering going through the application process for PR myself with out the use of a representative.

Can anybody advise me if this is wise? I don't want to mess the application process up by some error that a representative could have advised on but I think with a bit of time the application should not be too complicated to do on my own.

All advice is greatly appreciated.

I assume that since you have a work permit, you are already nominated by the PNP? How about you talk with the PNP yourself and ask them about the possible consequences of removing this agent as your representative?
 
The only forms I can find are for the Application of a permanent resident card, but where do I find the forms to apply for permanent residence?
