I just got my LMIA, but my status is implied status

-I was already in Canada when I applied, and I am still in Canada and still working.-



I applied my LMIA. 7, May

and my previous work permit expired the middle of June.



I applied for a new work permit before my previous work permit is expired (5,June)

I was able to apply for the work permit even it was before getting LMIA.

So my status is changed 'Implied status' and still.


They just said I need to attach the LMIA number after I get LMIA.
I applied by post and according to the tracking number, they received before my work permit expired.


However, I havent received any e-mail from governments.

I called them around last July. They said they might not open the envelope yet..


So i keep waiting.

As I got LMIA eventually today, I need to send the LMIA number to my work permit.

What should I do now? just waiting for an email? or can I go to the border?

Hello, I got my LMIA last September. and I am still working here
I was just waiting and everything went well.

According to a friend who is waiting for LMIA now,
A bunch or people applied LMIA so it is going to be late. (3months~)

so the answer is just waiting..
