Hi,
i am new to this forum, but i was wondering how the trv process worked in Islamabad. I am single and support both my parents and my two younger siblings, which one is a teacher and the other is a student. i have submitted all my documents such as, stating i am self employed, back statements, the house i own papers including land that i own, my mba and ba certificates, and an affidavit stating that i will return back to Pakistan. Also my aunt and uncle have both attached their bank statements, citizen cards, self-employment, a letter from the Mp of the place they live in, and a statutory of oath.

i have submitted by application on June 26, 2013 and received a confirmation right away.

but since then i have not received anything.

do you think they will interview me? and if they do can some one help me with the questions i will be asked, please.

and

how long will they let me know, by if my application has been rejected or accepted.

Thanks so much

Naz

Visa offices are currently being affected by a strike and normal processing times don't apply. So it's difficult to know when you will hear something back.

In case your visa isn't approved or isn't approved in time, I would recommend that your aunt and uncle find some friends who live in the same area as your grandmother and can take her to the appointment.

Hi,
Thanks for your respond.
they have tried, but none of their friends are traveling, and the ones that are, are not from the area which makes communicating very difficult.
they have tried to get my grandmother a flight attendant to accompany her from Pakistan to Canada , but my grandmother does not trust them, as she has had bad experience, with them before.

With the amount of family you have in Canada (and you should've declared them in your application - it's a requirement), it's going to be hard to be convince the VO that of all her family YOU must go with her to Canada - as opposed to the many Canadian family members she already has.
