I NEED YOUR HELP!
Hi dear friends, I'm planning to apply as a student for Summer 2022 intake and I'm writing to seek advice to address some issues that I've identified as potential visa rejection scenarios.
First of all, let me brief you on my profile background.
Age: 26 years
Work Experience: 5+ years (from 2016 to 2021)
Marital Status: Married
Industry of Experience: IT
Qualification: Completed HND in Computer Science (no Bachelor's yet) and completed MBA in International Business (enrolled to this via my work experience).
HND completed in 2017. MBA enrolled in 2020 and completed in 2021.
Here are the supposed problems I've identified,
Please forgive me if my questions are lengthy and sound stupid. I'm just an amateur trying to figure out the best possible pathway for PR. Highly appreciate any advice given. Have a great day!
Here are the supposed problems I've identified,
- My work industry is IT, I've completed my HND and got 5+ yrs of work experience in this. But, I've just completed my MBA in a completely different field (business related). Is it justifiable if I apply to a PGD in the field of IT just that I don't have a Bachelor's in IT yet? Or would it be an issue for the Visa Officer because I've opted to do MBA instead of Bachelor's in IT which should have been the next step in my academic plan. What is the best course choice to be made at this stage? Will there be concerns raised for the academic credential mismatch as to why I opted for MBA and now want to pursue a lower graded course in IT again?
- I've consulted a few Student Visa consultants, they imply on hiding my MBA and applying for Bachelor's or a related course in IT so that I can skip explaining in the SOP about my MBA. But my concern here is that, I may use my MBA credentials when I apply for PR later. Would it be a problem then? I might be charged for false representation and deal with extreme consequences which I would like to avoid.
- My short term goal is to attain PR. Should I be preparing the documents that are required for PR (after 3+ yrs from now) from home BEFORE going as a student? For example: My work reference letters, ECA for my MBA, Police certificate & anything and everything required for PR application. I can't be coming back to home later just to get these documents.
- This is the first time I'm applying and I haven't traveled to any foreign countries yet - my passport is blank. Would this by any means affect my visa approval?
Please forgive me if my questions are lengthy and sound stupid. I'm just an amateur trying to figure out the best possible pathway for PR. Highly appreciate any advice given. Have a great day!
