Dear all good people,

I have an eta which has a validity for upto 3 years from now, as the passport I used has this time of validity. I have a valid green card till 2021, but I have not visited USA for last 3 years. Will that be a problem for me to visit Canada with a return ticket. My visit duration will be of 20 days highest. My purpose of visit is only visiting my uncle and few of my friends. Shall it be an issues at the immigration. I will visit from Bangladesh. Even though I have applied for TRV visa from Dhaka, but the embassy of Canada said I will not require TRV to enter, I will be needing eta. Please your valuable advices... thanks in advance

You should have no issues using your ETA to come to Canada.

Note that if you've been out of the US for three years, you've effectively given up your green card status (unless you obtained a re-entry permit before leaving). The next time you enter the US, you should expect US authorities to revoke your green card status at the border.

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes about entering US, I know I will be requiring re-permit.
