Hello , while back in July 2019 I applied for citizenship and 2 months later I got charged for driving while impaired even though I was charged in a bar and over 80. My lawyer has set up a trial later this year 2020. I wanted to know if you know if this will affect my citizenship?

1. Yes., your application will probably be put on hold until the result of the charges are known.

Not sure I get charged in a bar and over 80. You mean over 0.08 the limit but how can you be charged if not in or getting into vehicle?
