Its just a mail by CIC and have a PDF stating application approved. Passport is still in transit

my profile is
10th - 85%
12th - 76%
Btech - 72%
Ielts - 6.5 (and at least six each)
Applied for 2 years robotics and industrial automation course at Conestoga college.
Paid 1year Gic and college fees.
Filled sister and paternal uncle name as sponsors.
Applied online on 8th of October and got password request on 5 Nov and the approved mail on 11 Nov and received passport on 16 November.

I also got my visa approved for Jan 2016 Intake for Conestoga college.have u booked ur flight? BTW when r u going?
 
applied on 10 /nov @ Vfs chd
approval on 25/nov.

10th - 74%
12% - 60%
graduation - 6.61 cgpa or 60 % with no re or backlog. Btech ECE
ielts - 6.5 with 6 in each
1 year MNC experience. no gap.

Ive done Bachelors in Electronics and communication engineering in india with 7.5 cgpa. Im looking to do masters in CS.Could u suggest some universities that I would most likely get accepted into?

Additionally, I dont have any papers published nor did I have attended any conferences, but Ive got 8 months work experience and 4 months internship. Any help would really be appreciated. Ive tried asking before, but no one seems to be interested to answer. Definitely people who got admit would be in a position to help me. Please spare couple of minutes

I presume your 8 month experience and 4 month internship is in software field.

I suggest you to apply for

University of Windsor
University of British Colombia
University of Winnipeg or University of Manitoba (low fees)

They all have masters in computer science.

Thank you so much for the info. Yah I am an web application developer. What are my chances in getting in UBC ? Their CS program application deadline is dec 15th. Also, would my bachelors in non cs field be a problem while processing my application?

If their deadline is on December 15th, apply for it. UBC is one of the best in the world. Write a good Sop explaining why you want to join. Add some points like you developed interest in software while working as a Web Developer. You will get through.

Also have Windsor/Winnipeg as backup. So worst case if UBC didn't work, you will have options.
