I didn't include a police certificate from the US!!!

Hey everyone, I just sent my application and didn't include a police certificate from the USA!! On the website it says I have to include it, I just found out right now, but on the checklist it says i don't have to include it yet until they ask for it. Can someone confirm with me if they'll send it back?!

No, what you did is correct. CIC will require you to upload your PCC later, after you receive you AOR. It will probably around 8 weeks from the date that CIC received your application. And if you haven't apply the PCC from FBI, you need to act asap, because it will take 14 or more weeks for FBI to process it.

Okay thank God! My husband also needs to get a police certificate from Mexico, do you know how long it takes to obtain that?

Why does your husband need a police certicate? By the way, which immigration stream are you applying? I assumed you applied for family sponsorship, is it right?

Sorry I didn't mention I'm the sponsor and he is the applicant, so he needs police certificates from Mexico and the US

Ok, just make sure that you don't need to submit any PCC, just your husband. While what I said about FBI Rap sheet is true, unfortunately I don't know anything about obtaining PCC from Mexico. There is another thread that dedicated to applicants that their VO is Mexico, you may ask this question there.
