Hello guys. I just got my Student Visa approved.
I got accepted in a university in Canada for Bachelor's of Science since I studied engineering in a college for 2 years. When I got my transfer credit evaluation after acceptance, It said that the university only accepted 1 course out of the two years that I studied in the college. Bachelors of engineering in Canada is 5 years so I have to study 5 more years for the degree so I lost interest in that field and I want to pursue Bachelor's of Business Administration program. I contacted my university and they transferred me to the business program but now the problem is that when I applied for the visa, I applied as Bachelor's of Science program (4 years). Now that I have changed my program, I am afraid that immigration won't give me my study permit since I switched programs. In my SOP (STATEMENT OF PURPOSE), I clearly stated that I am an engineering transfer student and how I loved that field. The DLI is still the same but I only switched programs. I haven't even registered for my courses yet. Can someone tell me if its a big issue and will they will let me study? What are the possible outcomes? Should I register for my business courses or science courses? Please let me know if anybody knows the answer to these questions ASAP.
Thank you!
