I called CIC for test invitation

The CIC representative was very nice and told me that they would send the test invitation after background check (security). This process need at least one month.
So, why many guys received their test invitation letter in less one month, even 10 days after IP. I came from Vancouver, and many Vancouver applications received their test invitations in less one month.

Yes, it is hard to understand the work process of CIC.
I found that some guys wait long time for test, and the time between test to oath will be shorter. And the representative told me that my case still in Nova Scotia . I wonder that the test invitation and the oath letter both are control by the NS office. The local office just arrange the test and oath place for the applications by following NS office' instructions. Some offices have no test candidates, and the NS office will ask the local office send the test letter, but the background check still hold on in the NS office. That is why some people wait long time between test and oath.
