Hello!

I came to Canada 2012 January and I started work from 2012 September.
And I have been paid 1000$ a month.

But in 2013 September, which was before my experience time reached required period of CEC, my wife received Closed Work Permit, and I became a dependant and I received Open Work Permit.

And after that, I went to Canadian Border and received a Study Permit.

So that I have both Open Work Permit and Study Permit as well.

And I am still working being paid 1000$ and study as a part-time student.

As you think, Can I apply CEC?

One thing is that after receiving Study Permit, is my open work permit still valid or not?

If I am studying as a part-time student, are my experiences accredited?

Thank you for your seeing.

If the course you are studying is less than 6 months, then you didn't need a study permit. You can have a valid student permit and a work permit at the same time, provided you are not a full time student. For e.g., distance learning, evening courses etc., can all be done while working. You can apply under CEC, but you will need a good letter explaining your situation and also look at the average pay for your NOC code.
