Hello, Currently I am leiving in Canada and I have all my documents here, my transcripts, my degrees, my certifications etc, of the university where I studied. I was looking the requirments of WES , ICAS, etc for the ECA, and all of the says that they need the transcripts sent by the university where I studied, it means, from my country and the show me a request form, which should be signed for me and the autority of my university, the problem is that I am here in Canada, i wanna know if the have some exceptions for the people who are living here in Canada and have the documents here, the exceptions of send our documents by our own directly to WES or Icas o U of Toronto for the ECA assesment???, I can do that, in my country I dont have relatives near to the university where i studied, please ou know about some experience like this? thanks

They don't have exceptions for people that are already in Canada.

They need to confirm that the documents are original - and an easy way to do this is for the university to send the documents to them.

I studied abroad and don't live near my university, but they were kind enough to send everything for me after a request by e-mail directly to WES. Can't you try the same thing?

As far as I know they won't accept the documents unless its coming from the university in a sealed envelope with proper authorization. But it wont hurt for you to call WES or ICAS and see if they will accept any alternative arrangement.

what abou the people who studied PostGradute degrees here in Canada?, they need ECA for their lowest degrees did in their home country, for example if you studied in canada a Master Degree, and also you have a Bachelors degree but this degree is from your country... so must submit only your canadian master degree or even yo need the ECA for the lowest studies'??

If you have a Masters degree from Canada then you don't need an ECA for your bachelors from somewhere else as you get the Points for your masters degree (135 in EW)

However, post graduate diploma is not at par with a Masters degree, so you have a PGD, you may be better off getting ECA for your bachelors. Just my thought!
