Hello I am a Canadian PR and my boyfriend is planning to come to Canada next year.
We are planning to get married in our country and come to Canada together.
Since I am alreay a PR, I have no worries, but I am concerend about my boyfriend how he can come to Canada. Which one is the better option TRV or Study Permit?

Neither option, or both. If you and he are married, you will find it very hard to get a TRV or study visa as they are not to be used to bring spouses to Canada. CIC will deny your request based on purpose of visit. But people have received them based on overwhelming proof of ties to home countries. However you're not really being honest when you apple for a TRV in this case.

If you want him to live with you, you need to sponsor him after marriage. It takes about a year.
