Hi everyone, please help me to answer this question. I was provincial nominated in March through the experience stream under Nova Scotia PNP program. Then I was invited to apply and I submitted the application to the CIC. Haven't received any updates since then.

I called both provincial immigration office and CIC, they said it will not impact my PNP, BUT they can not speak for CIC. CIC agent said he can not answer the question, just saying I should give them the update if I quit.

My work permit is open, I intend to stay unemployed for a while after I quit.

The provincial nomination letter stating employment restriction as "No".

Thank you very much for your time!

If PNP has no employment restriction, you can leave your job without effect on PR application. I don't know if you even need to notify CIC. Just keep your status legal active until you land

Thank you for your response!

If I was you, I would also not leave the job. Don't really want to take any risk till I get PPR
Good luck
Thanks
