I would say no as you will probably not see a job or the money. An LMIA is applied for by an employer and costs the employer 1000 dollars plus advertising costs.
This makes no sense at all. Why are such large amounts of money being discussed?
This sounds like a serious fraud or scam.
Provide detailed information about the "lawyer" and their company. Also post the job offer letter here with your personal information removed from it.
There is no way that you should be paying, directly or indirectly for an LMIA. It's probably immigration fraud for anyone to offer a work permit or LMIA for money.
