how two visa refusal can affect US visa.

hello,

i got rejection 2 times, this time a new reason ``family ties`` last year they didnt check that ground on the reasons.... feels horrible yep.

in september i will request US visa, how this two rejection could affect ? i contacted a lawyer and she told me ``not at all`` but i wish to read differents views and opinions.

please help.

Your Canada TRV refusals will not affect your US B1/B2 visa approval per se. This is because you have been refused for typical/common reasons.

That said (and based on your posts), as you don't meet the entry requirements for Canada, it is highly possible that you do not meet the entry requirements for the US as well.... unless there is a significant change in your personal, financial, etc circumstances by September.

You may want to check Section 214(b) for the US B1/B2 visa before you apply. It is similar to the TRV requirements

Even My first B1 B2 got refused with the 214B reason as I was single at that time with no travel history and was going to attend my Finacee's graduation Ceremony, Lucky got the visa approved 2nd time after a month from first refusal.

I have no luck with Canadians specially at embassy in Mexico where the application for my country are processed.... it’s very frustrating that people with no job have visitor visa approved this time a lawyer is helping me with B1 B2 visa. I hope if I get US visa the Canadian embassy in Mexico not think I won’t leave Canada at he end of my stay

I contacted a lawyer before this new process, she told me that is strange that my Canada TRV was refused because of assets and financial status, if i have my own house, car, stable and well payed job, enough funds to be for 10 days even hosted in friends house, a fiancée here. Those requirements are noticeable for US visa (b1 b2).

But I’m still wondering why this year a reason for my refusal is “family ties” and last year not...
Also wondering if Mexicans (not all) read completely the applications they receive there... I feel so upset for that but I’ll get advisory from a lawyer at my country

Might be cheaper for you to get the officer’s case notes (GCMS) than to contact a lawyer again.

GCMS = Case notes i.e. the observations made by the visa officer when s/he assessed your application.

IMO, applying for a US visa (and even if you are granted a US B1/B2) is not a guarantee to/may not result in a TRV approval later. IMO again, it would be best to hold off your plans to visit Canada until your personal and professional circumstances change significantly.

Some lawyers could give advice that an applicant wants to hear. Reality may be far from this

Well the lawyer told me same as you “US visa won’t guarantee your visitor visa to Canada” as I said before better forget about Canada for years and try about that Case notes GCMS.
