Dear

If a person is moving for good to canada from sub continent countries like india, pakistan, what is best way to

1. transfer payment from home country to canada, will this be done through swift transfer because there are various restrictions in taking capital out ?

2. If a person wants to take his jewellry and or furniture, do they have to fill some kind of export form ?
and should the person carry the jewellry in their hand carry and declare it at customs along with export form if required ?

The container carrying furniture I assume will be a clear export LC

Thanks

Pre-Assessed..
Is China part of the sub-continent?

2) Just use your stamped B4 form and other shipping document such as bill of lading when you clear customs.

Any idea if funds/cash should be included on the B4 form, if it is a relatively significant amount ($300,000+)?

No, you don't declare money, unless you are personally carrying over $10K. If it is bank/swift transfer, it is automatically reported to FinTrac
