How to Submit Additional Documents after Express Entry Submission?

I am still waiting for FBI police certificate and the certificate will not be available before the submission deadline.

I give an explanation about the delays at FBI in the letter. But if I later receive the FBI letter, how can I submit it to CIC? Does the Express Entry account allow you to update the documents after submission?

Any experience? Thank you.

According to the CIC website, you can not send additional documents after submitting the application.

However, I know some people submitted their police certificates through Case Specific Enquiry.
I too used the CSE form to send one police certificate, and I may do so again when my FBI Report arrives, but I don't know if it is the right way.
