How to score band 8 in listening

Hello seniors,

can anyone give me tips on how to score 8 in ielts listening?

In my first attempt I scored 7.5 and I constantly keep getting 7 or 7.5 in practice tests too. How do I improve the score? any tips? I'm going for my second attempt on 30th June

well, I noticed that, there are easy listening and hard listening in an actual test.

12 may was easy one , got 8.5 bands, no map, all blanks were single words.

24 may, quite hard one, there was map, two questions with 6 choices in each, flow chart, two word answers in blanks

2nd june, was easy, but speed was fast, missed 3 answers.

waiting for 24 and 2nd june results.


go to youtube, search for ielts listening practice, increase the speed of video by clicking on gear at right bottom.

do as many as you can, keep track of them keep repeating them with high speed.
