Hi all,

need to apply for pr card renewal, and thought of first obtaining my CBSA record to make sure i have the accurate dates (assuming the CBSA record would be reliable and IRCC consider it as the book of records).

My question is, how to obtain the CBSA record and how long does it take to get it? I'm aware i don't need for my application - its just for my own verification, so as to ensure my application is accurate and to avoid processing delays..

Another question, is it true that the pr card renewal is processed in 55 days (as posted in their website)? I've been told that it usually takes a year...if any one renewed their pr recently - please share your timeline.

That's the link for making request CBSA travel history report. However it may not be a good idea to make this request when you already sent or sending shortly the PR Card renewal application. It may cause unnecessary delays so something like that is what the CBSA suggests. Normally it takes 30 days or less for you to get the report. The 55 days timeline is for applications without any complications and everything perfect as per the processing officer of IRCC. Time taken for individual applications may vary.
