how to prove relation with uncle

Hi,

I have to show my relation with my uncle ( my father's younger brother).

According to http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/assets/pdfs/visas/Document_Checklist-eng.pdf

Proof of your relationship to your relative in Canada, if applicable, (i.e.; education documents,
parent’s Bay Form, birth certificates or Nikah Nama), and his/her status in Canada with the
notarized copy of record of landing, Canadian passport or citizenship card. Documents must
conclusively prove how you are related. Affidavits are not acceptable. Also provide the
complete address of your relative in Canada.

whereas E37020 says

If your close relative is a Canadian citizen: proof of Canadian citizenship, such
as a photocopy of pages of a Canadian passport or Canadian citizenship card.

I think that the copy of my Uncle and father's passport would be OK to prove my relation with my Uncle.

use birth certificates of your fathr and uncle to prove common parents
if your grandfather,s name is written on their passports then it shall also work

I would like to add a question, do we have to provide the notarized document for relative's proof of Canadian citizenship, such as copies of her/his passport and canadian citizenship card, or we can just send the photocopy instead without being notarized?

If you don't have Birth certificate of your father and uncle(being more than 60yrs ago) to prove blood relation can you use passport of both having same Father/mother name as proof.
Has anybody tried it successfully?

no idea about using passport to prove the relationship, but i think you can use marriage certificate of your father and marriage certificate of your uncle. since marriage certificate also has father's name so their marriage certificates will have their father's name (i.e. your grandfather's name). check your visa office instructions. my visa office is islamabad and islamabad visa office instructions tell that you can use birth certificate or marriage certificate to prove the relationship.

it is unfortunate, but if he is not sending you documents he dont want you there. so you have to apply without those 5 points.
