Hi All

I arrived in Canada, Quebec in 2016. Studied here and working in Quebec now.
If I receive EE invitation, I have to move out of QC.

There are some questions:
  1. Can I move to Ontario but take the train, still work in QC?
  2. When I submit the docs to government, what I should submit to prove that I want to live in Ontario?
    • attached all the emails related to the job application in toronto?
    • emails from some of my friends who are citizens /PR holder who reside in Toronto showing that they will support and help me to stabilize in Toronto?
    • Or?
Thank you everyone!!!!

Once your PR is in your hands and you are on Canadian soil, nothing prevents you to go back to Quebec and live there. However, from now until the moment you finally have your PR in your pocket, you must do what you can to show IRCC that you want to leave Quebec.

Your best bet is probably to create a trail of evidence that you want to move out of Quebec: job and appartment searches, emails to friends or contacts asking for guidance with job search etc.

Most importantly, clearly state in the PR application that you want to settle in Ontario (specify the city). There is a court ruling against a guy who wrote in his PR application that he wanted to live in Quebec because he had a valid student visa to go study in Quebec. His application was turned down and the court ruled in IRCC's favor.
