Does anyone know how to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for Quebec-Selected Application? When we filed for federal immigration, our consultation asked us to wait for CIC's request before we pay RPRF.

I have read that it is better to pay earlier, but it is really unclear how we should pay. I read some older posts about sending payment to Mississauga. The recent information on CIC states that for Quebec-Selected Application, payment must be sent to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Any idea? Thanks!

hi liujx7,

it might be tricky, depending where you sent your application. If it is Buffalo, then it would be better to wait, because you don't know where they will transfer you, to avoid another transfer to your VO processing your file....

if you have the funds, you can send a bankers draft with your file number to the office you have sent your application. Or, if you have received already the AOR, there is might be an address given how to contact them.

hope it helps,

To add some information: my files have been transferred to the pilot program in Ottawa, and I have recieved AOR.

same thing for me.

Then you can send the Bankers Draft with your file number to this address. Again, it is not a must. If the moment comes, they'll ask. But then it'll take a small moment until they've cashed in the money. I sent both (550 and 490) in the beginning, done.
