How to obtain PR card.........

Hi
I landed in Canada 6 weeks ago and now i come back to Ireland.Do i need to apply for PR card seperately or it would have done automatically when i landed.I tried the cic website to check the status online ,but its only applicable for replacement or renewal card.

did you give a mailing address to the immigration officer when you landed?

Yes i did.I gave the address of my friend whi live in Toronto(i landed in Toronto).She already received my SIN card 2-3 weeks ago.But no sign of PR card yet .thatswhy i was wondering.

It's way too early. Processing time is currently 63 days. And then you have to factor in mailing time.
