How to obtain Egyptian Visa?

Hi everyone, I have a Canadian PR card but I am originally from India. I want to visit Egypt but I am not sure what's the procedure for a PR card holder.
Do I need a visa or can I get one on arrival?
If yes, what are the required documents? I have a friend living there who can sponsor me for a visitor visa as well, would that be easier?
Tried googling a lot but couldn't find anything, thus, hoping to find some help here.

Do you have an Indian passport? In general visitor visa application is done according to your passport. Having Canadian PR status may or may not make a difference.

Unless this country's visa application have specific instruction for "Canadian PR" (which I doubt), follow the instruction for Indian passport holders.
