Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all. I am the principal applicant and working in the US with H1B visa, while my spouse is working in Canada with a work permit now. We got our MR in Dec 2014 and paid upfront RPRF last month. And now, we are waiting for our PPRs.

My questions:
1. If we get our PPRs, where could we send our passports. New York VAC or Ottawa? Shall we be asked to send our passports to different places? (By the way, could a person living in Canada send his passport to New York VAC for visa stamp?)
2. If we get our immigration visas, do we have to land together? Or we could land separately, i.e., I land in the border while my spouse lands within Canada?

Thanks!

Ottawa.

No, and no.

Note that if you are from a visa-exempt country, you won't need to send your passport at all.

You CAN land separately, but the Principal applicant would have to land first. My suggestion, though, would be to have her come visit you and both land at the same time, if possible. Just keep the complexity down.

Thank you so much, friend. Actually, we are from China so we do need to send our passports then.
