how to knw work purmit is real or fake?

hi ,
i have doing my process for Canada and my agent give me work purmit but i someone told me we can not get eork purmit in India we only get work purmit in canada. we get 1st visa only in India it is true? please help me for this question.

Only the CIC can give you a work permit not the agent. Is it an open work permit or does it require and LMIA?

An open work permit means you are not tied to any company. A work permit that needs an LMIA is a closed work permit that only allows you to work for one company. CIC is immigration and citizenship canada.

You have been scammed. Your friend is right that the actual work permit is issued upon entry to Canada.
