Hi All,

Everyone here somehow knows their VO but I don't!

Can anyone please help me figure out the process of knowing my VO?

I would say for at least 65+days then order GCMS notes, you'll know it. Besides it's not really of much use though

Knowing visa office is really irrelevant today, as they can get moved around from VO to VO without you knowing it for workload distribution.
This information used to be interesting/relevant back when PR applications were paper-based, so if it landed somewhere, it was likely to stay there for the whole process, or sent-out via traditional mail so you'd want to know if it arrived properly.
You can order GCMS notes to know, but they are generated on the day the request is made, but only released to requester 30 days later. So even GCMS notes give you a picture of where your application was 30 days ago. So it might say "Ottawa" when you get the notes, but might have been dispatched somewhere else within that 30 day period.

I'd say you don't need to worry about it. All you need to know is that your application will be processed normally within 6 months.
