How to know about visa approval

I applied from Pakistan, paper based, I jusr want to know how CIC intimate about medical and then visa approval?

some forum member said:
You will get notification in your e-mail registered with CIC that you have new message in your CIC Account.
Then you have to log in into your CIC account to view new message.

i advise you to regularly check yo email account and CIC account.

oh, okay, sorry, your application is paper based.

your passport will be dispatched, there will be no visa but a letter which will ask you to do medical. then you will submit passport again with medical report. (a forum member had written this for indian paper based application.)

I am deleting my other response which is only true for online applications.

You will get email from CIC/Embassy that your Study Permit request has been approved and there will be a document attached with the email (Letter of Invitation).

Same.... You will receive an email.
There will be form attached with the email.
Form: IMM1017

You need to take printout of this form along with identity proof i.e Original CNIC/Driving License/Passport for you medical.
You would also need to take appointment for your medical and there is medical fee as well.
