How to get Transcripts from GGSIPU Delhi India.

Hi All,

I have completed my masters (MCA) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) in 2006.
Can someone guide me how to get the transcripts (directly send to WES) for the same?

You need to visit IP university campus with your originals, if possible They have a form to fill and a draft needs to be made (can be done from bank in campus). Then you need to wait for approx 3 weeks and revisit them to get your transcripts. Transcripts are your consolidated marksheet in a sealed university envelop. You can then send the sealed envelop to WES along with the payment receipt.

Hey Nitin,

Just a word of advice, sending transcripts to WES is not mandatory. If requirements have not changed since last 6 months by WES then you may simply get all your marksheets and degree copy attested(signed & stamped) from Registrar or Controller of Examination. Get them in university sealed envelope with stamps at the closing points of envelope. And send them to WES. I did same and I got my positive evaluation without any problem.

Don't know if they can do it through email, you can check with them. However the process explained by pgupta8 is correct-
1) Visit university.
2) Ask for transcript/attestation department.
3) They will give you a form to fill and ask you to deposit challan(Rs 2 for every attestation document, for six marksheets and a degree i.e 7*2=14), get at least 2 or 3 copies(might help in future, you never know)
4) Submit the challan receipt back at #2 transcript/attestation department.
5) They will give you a date to come back(probably after 7 days) with all original & copies of all your degrees and marksheets. My advice if you can't manage to come there again show them some proof of urgency like train ticket or bus ticket travel from different state or living in other state. They may let you go to a registrar office for getting your copies attested.

1. Did the Registrar /Controller of Examination /admin staff ask you questions why you have not submitted DD for the same ?
2. Have you shown the ticket to get it done same day? If yes ,how?
3. From where we get the envelope sealed and stamped ?

You only require one transcript envelope and your degree photocopy .Put them in another envelope and post for ECA.
