How to get Police Character Certificate in Pakistan Karachi

Hi,
I have to apply for my wife's PR. I need to submit Police character certificate along with other application package and documents. As she lives in Karachi - Pakistan, how can she get Police Character Certificate. She had sent her brother to the town police station, but the Police officials are saying that they need a "Invitation Letter". I have no idea which letter they are talking about. Please help, i have to apply ASAP as all other documents are ready.

The best answer would come from the police station SHO.. ask him what he means by invitation letter and tell him that this is upfront police certificate..
I applied in Sept 2016 and when my dad went to make the police certificate they asked my dad to have a from filled by me along with photocopies of some docs like nikkah nama and degrees...i filled that and submitted it and then paid a fee and the police certificate was made in 7 days.. they never asked for any 'inivitation letter' per say :/

Ask the district Head Quarter for PCC. More over invitation letter is from you that your are inviting your wife.
