How to follow up on Renounce PR Status application

Hi,

I filed a Voluntarily Renounce PR Status Application at the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh in June 2017. Should I follow up with the embassy or the IRCC? How much time does the processing of such applications take?

Others can comment but should not be more than a couple weeks but not sure they ever confirm a renounce but just process it. Depends I guess what your next step is planned to be whether you try any contact given that might take some time to get a response.
