How to find the reason for Non-routine processing

My application was last updated on July 16, 2024 . Citizenship ceremony NOT STARTED. And my application is considered non-routine . What can I do ?

what’s your office? Also I waited for 3 months after everything turned green. My friend got after 10 days. It really depends. my suggestion would be fill out a form and call IRCC. Which I did the same thing. I asked them if I’m non routine or something. She said if we asked for a fingerprint then you’re a non routine. But it doesn’t mean it will take forever.

I don’t know my office. Language skills, Physical presence, Citizenship test, background verification and prohibitions shows green and COMPLETED. The last step is the citizenship Ceremony which NOT STARTED . They haven’t ask me for a fingerprint but my MP called they said the application is a non routine.

Check your test email. The sender starts either DN SCR or MIS ( Scarborough - Mississauga ) etc etc

if they don’t ask your fingerprint then you’re not a non routine. Don’t worry. Just call them and say I thought you forgot about me that’s all they will help you

I have also gotten a green signal finally! things have sorted out and my file is approved (there was no reason for them to hold mine) in the end!

I just checked my application tracker and it was last updated on January 6 but green signal yet.

I bet it's just silly mistakes on their end. Mine was on hold for 9 months. From my last ATIP, I figured it was on hold because there were different names on my file - a mistake they made after I submitted a web form and explained to them, they processed my application in a week, and everything turned green in 2 days. However, it's stuck again at the Oath ceremony for over 9 weeks. My MP reached out, and they said everything is completed but because it's a group application waiting for others to complete and assign a ceremony for all of them together. The funny thing is, I submitted my application as a single application only for me. Now, my MP is working with them to understand why my application falls under the group category. Long story short, it's a shit show, and I have no idea how much longer I should wait. By the way, mine is approved as an urgent application for over 5 months, and that doesn't change a thing. So you don't need to worry about that part because this week, I passed 15 months and still waiting. I will keep u updated on any moves … good luck!

My LPP was completed six months after completing the citizenship test today. On my GCMS notes, I noticed a date had been updated under "eligibility adoption details". I'm a single applicant with no children, neither biological nor adopted. So weird. Hope it won't further delay my application.
