How to correct 5257 form

Hi,
I am Garry, I have recently submitted online application for visitor visa. I am permanent resident of Australia. After submitting the application, I got to know that I misunderstood one question asking previous visa refusals in 5257 form and I selected "No". But actually I got work visa refusal in the year 2013 which I din't disclose by mistake. I am not able to make any changes in any of the forms now. Could anyone please suggest what can be done now.

Hi .. you can mail to embassy where you have submitted your application and explain in detail that it was a mistake and you want to correct it and fill the form and submit along with your email as soon as possible and hope and pray that it’s accepted by the VO. If the decision has been made then there is no option. You are looking at a refusal and misrepresentation. Good luck to you. @Bryanna . Please clarify .

That's @H06 you should be thanking He is right.

You must send the email + Case Specific Enquiry/IRCC web form to the visa office for the country/region where you reside.

I would send this really quickly to IRCC. You must mention that you misunderstood the question about visa refusals + it was unintentional + you are declaring this information on your own without IRCC requesting it

Well.. @Bryanna I try to gather from info you provide on here and try Nd study things on the net and helping out people who need it. I try to get a second opinion from you as I don’t wanna misguide someone even unintentional and spoil their application.

Yeah I have sent CSE web form mentioning all these points. Let's see how it goes. Thanks a lot for your assistance

Do send the email too. CSEs can take time to reach the visa officer's desk
