i think you should call CIC call center. in my case i have only 7 digits (1234567) on my citizenship card so i didnt put anything for UCI in forms.

I'll try it. Thank you! By the way, if I put nothing in forms I can not validate it.

he can get his uci (client id) on one of the following documents:

1. his landing paper (when he landed in canada)
2. the uci used to b the same with the pr card number
3. his citizenship file number (when he applied for citizenship)

don't worry, not having it it's not the end of the world....i didn't know is on one of the mentioned documents either and i didn't know it should b the same number so i left it blank.....of just write n/a or 000000000000 if u have to write something.....for me everything went ok but i did provide photocopy of the landing document so they probably saw it there themselves....::)

Hi Becky! He can call CIC and they will give it to him after verifying some personal info. Some reps say it's not a big deal and suggest you leave it blank but if you insist that you'd rather not will give it to you :)

The B number is the application number; the UCI number is a separate 8 digit number.

Think you very much for so much details! Although he doesn't have either one of them. I will call them tomorrow :)

Just make sure he calls - even if you're his wife they won't give the info to you. I want to save you a long wait to not get any info until he calls back ;)
