How to check application status

Dear all we have applied for PR renewal for more than 6. But still not able to see online status. May b we r cheching wrongly. Can someone help to guide how to write name. I tried with all option of my name. Also is color photos is requirement for pr renewal

Hi. Here's what I do.

1) I go to this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp
2) select category PR card
3) click "check application status" button at the bottom
4) agree with the terms and condition
5) enter my PR card number, last name, birth date, and place of birth then press "continue"

status will appear.

did you do the same ?

I sent my application back in sept and upto now still no update.
