Dear Seniors,

I really need some help in changing the address for my PR card which I had submitted at the airport to immigration while doing first landing a week back. Can you please advise the way by which it can be changed instantaneously.

Thanks

You will need to call CIC and advise them of your address change ASAP, so they can ensure that your card is sent to the proper address.

I did it through my ecas and my card was sent to the correct address

Hi,

Really old post but still hopeful of getting a reply. I am planning to do the same. Provide the Hotel's address upon landing and then change the address online once I find a rented apartment. I saw the process for changing the address online and it says that it takes 5 business days for the change to reflect. What happens if I change the address and the PR card gets dispatched to the initial address within those 5 business days???

Regards...

Don't provide address when landing, just tell officer you will call and provide address when you have one.
