How to call parents for visit, international student in Manitoba

Hello everyone!

I am a international student in Winnipeg. I want to call my parents to visit me in Winnipeg, just for 2 months.
Can anyone please help me with the procedure? I just read somewhere that i need to show around 5 lakhs in each of their accounts. Is there no other way, because i do not have that much amount of money.

Any help would be really appreciated.

They have to apply for TRV or ETA.

They would need to present some financial proof when they apply for TRV.

if they have visa already, they need to present round ticket and some funds to spend while they are in Canada at the custom.

But they don't have a visa, i just want to know the procedure for tourist visa for them? Is it the normal process as everyone or is there any difference if their son is in Canada?

it will be same procedure, no different and no advantage.

they can send some proof that you are studying in Canada and it might help.
ex: a letter from your school that you are full time student .
