Dear Rocky, Qorox, Leon

I have to get my Certificate of Qualification on my arrival in Ontario. For sitting for a C of Q, one has to have more than 9000Hrs working experience.

Now i have been working since august 2005. I have the experience letters from all my three employers that mention the period i have worked for them. I just want to clarify as how to calculate my hours of work.

number of years worked - 5

Suppose i have worked all 8 hour shifts then how many hours does it total out to ?

Probably u have done 6 days a week job all the 5yrs, w/out any breaks. So...
8x6x4x12x5=11520, isn't it? Or is there something else, which I'm missing?

If there were breaks, say for change of employers. U need to subtract them. Annual vacation remains part of your job, unless u were a daily/hourly wager... Which sure is not the case.

Yes..that's it.

On the employer reference letter i had my boss write that i have worked Monday to Saturday 9 to 5. i think that will suffice the counselor.
